Nguyen Xuan Bach

It was our first day in Saigon, and we are very lucky to have Khang showing us around the corners of the city. We departed from Ben Thanh Market on motorbike, and he took us to under Cau Muoi bridge where we had some Hu Tieu - noodles. He then took us to District 2, over Thu Thiem Bridge where we got to see both the skyline of Saigon central districts - so similar to Manhattan except for a slightly less beautiful river - and also the development of a new city area. This is incidentally an area where many young couples gather for late night date! We had stir-fried corn and Vietnamese tacos there, which was really really awesome. We then headed to Bui Vien Street - the nightlife happening of Saigon, where we had some fried Sake (not the Japanese wine) and Saigon Special beer, while talking about our journeys. Food was great, host was awesome and knowledgeable, and always eager to share about what is good here.
