ABOUT THEEXPERIENCE

In the countryside of Florence, not so far from town, guests are welcome in our country house. We serve meals in the dining room, or directly in the kitchen if you love to participate in the cooking. And if the weather allows it, we can dine in the garden where we dine in, in the spring and summer seasons. I have a well organized vegetable garden in the courtyard, which serves as the main inspiration behind the ingredients for our daily meals.

On Sundays, in Mugello, it is time for Tagliatelle fatte in casa, homemade Tagliatelle. In the early morning, I will start to prepare impasto for pasta and start slow cooking the meat (ragu) and married with it, all genuine and local ingredients, which are coming directly from our farm and local producer.

ABOUT THEMENU

The menu could change with season, but in order to keep to our tuscan traditions, here is a bite of what kind of dishes we could serve to our guests:

While waiting for the main dish, you can start with Bruschetta, roasted slice of tuscan bread with tomatoes and Crostini with mushrooms, fegatini. Tagliatelle, prepared with eggs of our happy chickens and local flour are served with Ragout made with local meat and Parmigiano cheese on top.
Following you can choose between Roastbeef or Cinghiale in umido, stewed wildboar, all the meat are local and ZeroKm, potatoes, salad or pees like side dish.
Here we are at dessert, choose between Torta della nonna or Profiteroles
Sangiovese red wine, Water and Italian moka Coffee
Traditional liquors are homemade, Nocino or Limoncello della casa

ABOUT THELOCATION

The location is where me and my husband are living, in the countryside of Florence. In the summer you can enjoy the garden and the peace of the campaign, where famous reanissance painter like Giotto were born.
