I used to work in advertising with international companies all over the world, but I soon realise my love for cooking, and the love for the freshness of Vietnamese cuisine. That is when I start teaching people how to cook! I have had over 12 years of experience in this field, particularly with the Japanese people. They really love Vietnamese food. I arrived when Yen's friends were about to leave. We talked for a while over some really nice and sweet lychee, and then we started cooking. We made Goi cuon (Fresh spring roll) and Mien xao cua (Crab vermicelli), and it was a really eye opening experience. She guided me through each of the steps, and taught me a lot of tips on how to prepare, season and cook the dishes. I got to make my own rolls and stir-fried the vermicelli under her instruction. Yen also taught me how to present the food, using which ingredient for which color, and also their effects on our body. I had a great time learning and eating. Really recommend this!
