ABOUT THEEXPERIENCE

Brazilians like to host and I used to host on various bed&breakfast sites for few years. I'd like to extend my passion for hosting a room, to hosting a dinner party on BonAppetour as well. As I love love to cook, I want to invite you to try our food and have fun with us in my old pre-war house in the middle of Sao Paulo, the biggest city in south America !

So, what's cooking in my kitchen..? My speciality is a Brazilian traditional dish made of rice and beans!

RICE&BEANS THE TRADICIONAL - you will eat the traditional rice and beans, the rice is white rice, similar to basmati, but not too long, the beans are cooked in a pression pan for a while with Portuguese sausage "Paio" in sp the everyday beans are not black beans, they are brown one very famous is "carioquinha" .
rice and beans are the main dishe but in the side comes always a vegetable and a piece of meat or can be fish or an fried egg , "Farinha" the yukka flour is always on the table with this dishe too.
to drink i will serve you a fresh and exquisite caju juice, the same fruit that you know trought the nut! caju is a tropical fruit, that is perfect with this meal.
Last but not least, to end, we have a brasilian coffee, strong with that amazing flavor coming from the Italian press, the coffee comes together with romeu&julieata - or if you don't want to be so romantic "goiabada com queijo" or translation, guava cooked until a paste or a pure served with white cheese.

I will add in more details about the history and preparation, I just can't wait to start hosting on BonAppetour. Am excited with this new idea of eating living sharing and travel and I hope you are as excited as I am to dine at my home!


Notes:

No alcohol drinks are provided, but you are welcome to brink your own, i recommend beer with this one.

Please let me know if you eat meat or if you are vegetarian, I can cook it only with the veggies with no meat , both are delicious!

This experience can be served on dinner or lunch hours, and I can host you around 2-4 pm on the weekdays. If you happen to be in town only on weekends, do drop me a message with a special inquiry, and I will try my best to accommodate. :)

If you wish to dine at my place for dinner, I can host you between 8 -10 pm on weekdays. You can also drop me special inquiries for dinner for weekend plans.
