I met my host at her home and we cooked together for a few hours. I learned alot about cooking pasta the right way, how to season a tomato sauce and how to make perfect cacio e pepe. This was something I came to Rome to learn and I have much better understanding now. She was very well prepared, everything already mis en place and I was able to help in each part of the cooking. We enjoyed a meal with mint-flavored water, I chose not to drink wine and fisnished with a light dessert with mint in it that is so easy to make.
Una serie di coincidenze casuali e fortunate mi hanno portato nella cucina di Federica. Lei sorridente, solare ed accogliente. L’ambiente caldo, familiare con una massima attenzione ai particolari. Ma ciò che ha reso veramente speciale ed indimenticabile la serata è stato il menù presentato da Federica, degno di un ristorante stellato, un trionfo di sapori tipici locali con un’apertura verso sapori della cucina internazionale. Risotto zucchine e taleggio, pollo al curry, contorni vari e poi il dolce….divino!!! Consiglio vivamente la host Federica, ha reso quest’esperienza unica ed indimenticabile. Torneremo sicuramente!!!!
Federica è una cuoca eccellente che usa la passione per i fornelli come condimento. I suoi piatti "viaggiano" dalla cucina tradizionale italiana a quella più speziata sperimentata in altri paesi. Senza mai tralasciare il tocco personale della sua creatività.
