I have been hosting family style dinners for 10 years on a weekly basis. I am a firm believer that dining in community is an essential part of a balanced life. It is the one thing that has no borders, we all eat no matter what differences we may have, why not make it an experience.
Come solo, bring a friend, lover or group of people. The setting is very casual and relaxed, bring you own beer and wine, chat with new friends and enjoy a family style Italian feast. Everything is made from scratch including the bread, pastas, cheese, and charcuterie.
I have been cooking professionally for 16 years, and am a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. I owned and operated Absolute Catering in Orlando for five years, worked on a private yacht, managed a boutique catering company in San Francisco, cooked in Vietnam, was the Executive Sous Chef at the award winning Chef's Table at the Edgewater Hotel, and taught culinary arts to the general public for 2 years.
I love to cook everything, but my heart belongs to scratch Italian cooking.
Quaint family neighbourhood about 25-30 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of down town Portland. We are the halfway point from Portland to the wine country of the Willamette Valley.
